This is a rare vintage 1980's Thierry Mugler black cotton pique halter dress with yellow shape accents. The dress has many of Mugler's signature elements including his iconic snap closures, unique shapes and asymmetrical fit. This high low wrap style dress has a tie underneath as shown in one of the photos. The fitted bodice has "boning" and closes with snaps. The sash style belt is actually connected to the halter and can be wrapped to tie in front or tied in back.

Thierry Mugler was one of the most important designers of the late 20th century. His pieces are highly coveted and this incredible dress is very rare and more importantly, very wearable today! You can wear this in the evening or during the day, depending on the shoes and accessories chosen to pair with it!

Made of a luxe cotton pique and marked a size 42. We estimate this dress to fit a modern day size 6 but please always use the measurements as a guide for the most accurate fit online!
